Photography & Videography Policy

Images of students Capturing images of students, whether through photographs, videos, or any other visual content, is permissible only within ACE facilities, ACE accommodation, or during ACE activities with explicit consent from the individuals portrayed.

Photography/Videography by Students When a student takes a photo or records a video featuring other students, it is mandatory for the capturing student to seek consent from any individuals appearing in the visual content. If a student revokes their consent or if an image was taken without consent, it is imperative for the capturing student to promptly delete it. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary measures.

ACE’s Photography/Videography For brochures, websites, or any promotional materials, ACE seeks consent from all students regarding the use of their images for marketing purposes on their first day or before their arrival. Students can choose to opt in or opt out, and those wishing to modify their opt-in or opt-out status should contact the college reception.

Social Media When ACE staff members capture images for social media updates, individuals within the frame are verbally asked for their consent. If verbal consent is granted, the images may be used on social media, regardless of any prior consent. If a subject later decides to withdraw consent after an image has been posted, they must formally notify ACE in writing, as outlined below.

Retracting Consent If ACE employs an image for promotional purposes and a student wishes to retract consent, please contact us at info@acecollege.com. Clearly state whose consent is being retracted and provide a precise description of where their image is being used.
